Formed in Nashville in 2008 by brothers Miketrain and Jeremiah along with drummer Chris Vondrakula, Zopticon pulls its creative sound from various metal influences. Every member brings a different element to the table, from classical guitar, underground punk and thrash metal, to theater influence.

Strong melodic vocals pour over the aggressive attack of the music, setting it worlds apart from its contemporaries in the underground scene. The music is ripe with a balance of melodic singing, harmonies, screams, blast beats, robotic grooves, menacing sludge riffs, memorable hooks, and sinister solo guitars.

Interest in digital technology has played a large part in the creation of the Zopticon concept.. The music is rooted in stoner rock and prog-metal, but it also contains elements of doom and death metal to widen the playing field. Zopticon is the ultimate example of every individual working together to create a sound greater than themselves.
